Titus 2:9-10Exhort bondservants to be obedient to their own masters, to be well pleasing in all things, not answering back, 10 not pilfering, but showing all good fidelity, that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in all things.  (NKJV)

A few days ago I wrote about this scripture, in…Colossians 3:22Bondservants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh, not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but in sincerity of heart, fearing God.  (NKJV)  It was titled… “When the Cat’s Away”; and explained how the Bible reveals that we as Christian’s are to work as hard when our boss is away…as we do when they are right there to observe us…

The idea here is that God sees everything a Christian is doing…and so do those around them at work; or in any other situation, where the Christian has non-believers observing them… Even when we are alone…God sees not only what we are doing…God sees what we are thinking about (Psalm 139:2), and what is in our heart, both good and bad (1Samuel 16:7b)

There is no place to hide from God… This short verse, written by the wise Solomon, is only one of many scriptures revealing this, in…Proverbs 15:3The eyes of the Lord are in every place, Keeping watch on the evil and the good.  (NKJV)

Hebrews 4:13And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.  (NKJV)

Christians, who are Spirit filled…will be living totally submitted to the leading of the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 5:18-20); and understand that they are called to live as “Christ like” as possible… They are indeed “bondservants to be obedient to their own masters…the Lord Jesus Christ, as well as their employers…  A Spirit filled Christian’s purpose in life, is to bring honor and glory to the Lord, in everything they say and do (Philippians 2:9-11)… Here is a link filled with scripture, on becoming more like Christ…   http://www.openbible.info/topics/becoming_more_like_christ

Never cheating the boss out of time…never answering back to a boss, even when they are wrong… & not stealing so much as a paper clip from work…are all expected to be done by God, for those that call themselves Christian’s… Little white lies…or situations where we don’t reveal the whole truth, because it will then become a lie…or the use of fowl language (which I wrote about yesterday), or the telling of an off color joke…are also seemingly small sins; but God will frown upon them, and separate us from being righteous in His sight…

Christian’s are called by the Lord, to be beacon’s of light to the lost and dying world around them… Jesus told us this, in…Matthew 5:16…  Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.  (NKJV)

Any time the Christian is seen sinning, by anyone not part of God’s family…they are not only dishonoring God, they become poor testimonies for the way Christians should be living… Can all of us as Christian’s, live the way the Lord would like to see us live ??  This would be my prayer for all of us, each and every day…

After a person becomes a Christian (after understanding and obeying the gospel of Jesus Christ)…living for the Lord means understanding what will make God happy…and what God considers a sin; and then following the urging of the Holy Spirit…  Everything a Christian needs to know about pleasing God, and about being protected from Satan and his lies (Ephesians 6:10-20)…can be found in the Bible…  God gave us His Word for us to open and to read…

2 Timothy 3:16-17All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.  (NKJV)

Equip yourself to live a righteous life in the Lord’s sight… You will find a joy and a supernatural peace that only God can provide (Philippians 4:6-7); and a peaceful, purposeful way of life…which will extend for an eternity with our Father in heaven…

Heavenly Father, I pray that all Christian’s could experience what living for You is really like…  I pray Lord, that Your Word would ignite a fire in the lives of all Christian readers of today’s thoughts… A fire Lord, that will never be extinguished…as Your children lead obedient and pleasing lives in Your sight… I pray for this filling of the Holy Spirit for all of us…in Jesus’ most precious name and for His sake…Amen…
