Romans 8:28-29And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. 29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.  (NKJV)

I don’t know about you; but knowing that God is in charge of a Christian’s life…and everything that happens to them is orchestrated by God for the believers good…gives me assurance that no matter what trials and tribulations I go through…God will use them for my good…  God has a plan for each and every one of His redeemed children…according to His purpose

I was sidetracked yesterday, in continuing to give you highlights from a study in my Sunday school, the pastor at my church is calling…“Everyday Evangelism”…  In a quick review, the first day was spent on doing a self-check by Christians, that I called…”Don’t be Deceived”…  The important point here was that a Christian should positively know for sure that they have been forgiven of their sins…because the Holy Spirit tells them so, in…

Romans 8:16-17The SpiritHimself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.  (NKJV)

Yesterday, I was sidetracked into telling you about the dream I had about scripture, which I believe the Holy Spirit woke me up at 3:57am, to urge me to write about yesterday…  Yes…there should be constant communication between the Holy Spirit and the Christian, as well as constant prayer with the Lord (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)…and open ears and eyes as the Christian reads their Bible, which is where God speaks to us through His Word…  Here is a link for yesterdays writing…which will have a link to the first days writing…for those who want to catch up… https://godsmanforever.wordpress.com/2013/01/30/gods-group-thoughts-for-1302013-the-holy-spirit-at-work/

Once the unredeemed sinner seeks Jesus Christ to become their personal Lord and Savior, though obedience to the gospel of Christ (2 Thessalonians 1:8-9)…and has been justified as righteous by God through faith alone in Jesus Christ (Romans 5:1-3)…their work just begins in finding out how to please God… Becoming a Christian, and believing your home free with no spiritual growth…is not what will please our Father in heaven…

The very first step to become proficient at evangelizing those around us…is to first become a Christian in God’s eyes…  The last two days writing goes through what is clearly stated in the Bible…as to what God requires of the unredeemed sinner, to be made righteous in His sight… (Obeying the gospel of Jesus Christ)

The next step for the devoted Christian is to grow the 9 fruit of the Spirit given to them by God, at the moment they are filled with the Holy Spirit… These nine qualities that Jesus possessed, are to be grown and matured…as the Christian is conformed to the image of His(God’s)Son, Jesus Christ… This is a lifelong process known as sanctification…and is accomplished by spending time reading and understanding the truth found in God’s Word…and then applying this truth to the Christian’s life…

Christians become citizens of heaven (Philippians 3:20), after they are called out of Satan’s world of sin and shame by God… The Apostle John pens this, in…John 17:16-19They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. 18 As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. 19 And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth.  (NKJV)

I mentioned in the first day’s writing, on…“Everyday Evangelism”…that a study done on Christians, that can be reviewed at this site… http://bible.org/illustration/evangelism-statistics,  reveals that only 2% of the Christians in the USA, are engaged in evangelizing those around them on a regular basis…

From my own life’s experiences…if there is no growth in the spiritual knowledge and wisdom in the life of the Christian…they will be unable to effectively share their faith with those around them…other than possibly their own testimony of how God’s grace has changed their lives…  But to be able to share the gospel of Christ; which was commanded of all Christians by Jesus, in His last spoken words before ascending into heaven to be with His Father (Matthew 28:19-20)…the Christian MUST  spend time digesting God’s Word…

Jesus tells us that this spiritual nourishment for the Christian comes from the Word of God, and is a necessary part of their everyday life, in…Matthew 4:4But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’”  (NKJV)

I am going to suspend this study on…“Everyday Evangelism”…God willing…until after this Sunday’s teaching by Pastor Dan, from my church…  I have my own ideas on why we as Christians fail miserably at effectively sharing our faith with others… But I bow to Pastor Dan, to gain his insight into how best to become comfortable at sharing the gospel of Christ to those around us in need of being set free from Satan’s stronghold, with the truth from God’s Word…John 8:32

Heavenly Father, I thank You and praise You for who You are…  I pray Lord, that those reading these words I write, will become as excited as I am at being effective witnesses’ for Christ… I pray Lord, that sharing our faith as Your children…will become a most fruitful part of our everyday lives… I pray for this boldness to share our faith…in Jesus’ most precious name and for His sake…Amen…
