“How to have NO fear of your death !!”

Written by bruce r. mills @  www.Godsmanforever.com

Philippians 1:21 & 23For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. 23 For I am hard-pressed between the two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better. (NKJV)

Read today’s post, to find out how and why the apostle Paul thought death was better than life !!

Some would look at this opening scripture written by the apostle Paul…and wonder why he would say “to die is gain.” ??

Well my friends…if you are walking with the Lord, as a Spirit filled Christian…you would not only, NOT fear death…you would say, like I do…”Lord, I am eagerly looking for the day that You return”…  Or… “Take me any time Lord !!”

If you don’t know Jesus Christ, as your personal Lord and Savior (see link at the end on how to become a Christian in God’s eyes)…you will probably fear death… But the apostle John pens this, in…

1 John 4:18There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. (NKJV)

If you have fear, or anxiety, or bitterness, or anger…you are not filled with the love of Christ…that “perfect love” the apostle John writes about in this scripture…which by the full power of the Holy Spirit, will overcome any torment from Satan or your own flesh…

God promises this, when He has Paul tell us about the FULL Armor of God, to keep Satan in check (Ephesians 6:10-20)…and that if we submit to God, we will be able to resist Satan, and he will flee, in…James 4:7-8

You could read about my own testimony of how to live with the perfect love of Christ, filling your heart, mind, and soul most of the time…at this link, titled…”God’s Duo”…   I say most of the time, because we all sin…  But we must keep a short leash on our sins, by confessing to the Lord that we were wrong…and God will by His grace, cleanse us of our unrighteousness… (see below)

If you’re a Christian, and you are not walking in the Spirit (doing your best to live a Christ centered life)…you must confess any and all sins, that will keep you in rebellion against the Lord…

1 John 1:9If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (NKJV)

For unbelievers, this means confessing their sins with godly sorrow and a repentant heart, after they understand and obey the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ (See link below)…    “Born again” Christians, must come back to living for Christ, by confessing, repenting of, and turning from any and all sins…  Walking in the Spirit, with the full power of the Holy Spirit fighting your battles…will truly give you a life filled with God’s richest blessings…

The “perfect love” of Christ WILL allow you to have no fear of your death !!    Think about it…and seek a Spirit filled life, to be blessed by our Lord beyond your wildest dreams !!

Blessings in Christ, bruce
