“Supernatural Faith to Overcome ANY Obstacle”

Written by bruce r. mills for “God’s group” @   www.Godsmanforever.com

                                       (Revised from 5/08/2016)

Matthew 17:19-20Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?” 20 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.” (NKJV)

We read in this opening scripture, that Jesus’ disciples were not able to cast out a demon in a boy brought to them by his father…(Matthew 17:14-20 –  https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Mat17%3A14-20&version=NKJV )

They failed because of their lack of faith… Not faith in themselves…but faith that in the name of Jesus Christ, that the power Jesus had given to them would be able to cast out this demon…Luke 9:1

We shouldn’t be too hard on the disciples, because they didn’t have the Holy Spirit living within them until the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:1-13)…

But we as Christians that have been graced by God with salvation, have the Holy Spirit living within us… Sadly my friends…many Christians who are not filled with the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 5:18-20), also lack the faith needed to accomplish God’s will in their lives…

It is the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit that will urge us to share our faith with those in need… It is the Holy Spirit, if we are listening to Him, and obeying His direction…that will urge us to step out in faith, and use our spiritual gift (or gifts) to become a working member of our church body (Ephesians 4:14-16)…

And it is the Holy Spirit that will keep us on God’s path…opening doors, and accomplishing goals we could never achieve in our own strength… I am reminded of this scripture about the power of the Holy Spirit…

Ephesians 3:20Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, (NKJV)

You want to become a nurse ?? Maybe God wants you to become a doctor !!  Don’t limit your potential by trying to accomplish any task or goal in your own strength… Seek the Lord, and His will for your life with absolute faith…listen to and obey the Holy Spirit’s guidance…and, as the opening scripture reveals…with God, nothing will be impossible for you, if it is in God’s will for your life…NOTHING !!

Blessings in Christ, bruce
