Whatever you’re going through Jesus Cares
John 4:6 (NIV)
Jacob’s well was there, and Jesus, tired as he was from the journey, sat down by the well. It was about noon.

There’s a story in the Bible about Jesus going to Samaria and reaching out to a Samaritan woman. The story is primarily focused on the Samaritan woman’s need for a savior and her attempts to find it in relationships, which can speak directly to many of us who have tried to do the same. But there is a small piece of scripture that can get missed.
It has been bouncing around in my mind since I read it a few weeks ago. It’s this tiny phrase right before His encounter with the Samaritan that says “Jesus, tired as he was from the journey, sat down by the well. It was about noon”.
Jesus was tired.
Our Lord and Savior was tired.
That’s as close to the human experience as it gets, except for death which He later experienced also.
So here’s my point with this. Jesus has experienced what you are going through. Hebrews 4:15 actually says
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin.
Notice it says in every way.
I don’t know what you’re going through or what’s going through your mind right now, but Jesus does.
He’s experienced it all.
All the highs and lows, all the emotions and frustrations, and the anxieties that you’re feeling, He has felt them all.
He doesn’t shrug them off as unimportant. Jesus has been there, done that and He cares.
1 Peter 5:7 tells us to “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares“.
So if you’re tired like Jesus was, or you are struggling in some other way bring it all to Jesus.
Anything the worries you and makes you anxious bring it to the feet of Jesus.
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
