The Power of God To Preserve His Own

 

Romans 8:31-39

“What shall we then say to these things? If 
God be for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31.

Satan is a liar. He lies to Israel’s enemies saying that they can and should be annihilated from the earth. The gullible listen, not letting the failure of other nations that tried to rid the world of the Jewish nation deter them from trying. They waste a lot of money, time and human life trying to accomplish the impossible.

God has the power to keep not only His favored children but also His adopted children as He promised. God has us in His hand and in His grasp so mightily that nothing can pull us from His hand. John 10:28-30 says, “And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. I and my Father are one.” Romans 8:35-39, also assures us that nothing can remove, stop, hinder or lessen the love God has for His children.

And just as God promised to preserve the nation born from Abraham’s faith, love and dedication to God, every believer born again through the holy blood of Christ will be eternally present with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit in Heaven.

REFLECTION: “That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:15, 16).
