“Do You have Fear about anything ??”

1 John 4:18   There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.   (NKJV)

My friends, I believe many reading this post may have fear of many things…  Fear of their own death…  Fear of this pandemic, with all the trials it has caused…and will continue to cause around the world…  Fear of the unknown…  Fear from just about anything which causes them to live without God’s peace…  The Apostle John tells us that this fear “involves torment”…  Torment does not come from God…  My friends, torment comes ultimately from Satan…

The Apostle Paul reveals in the following scripture…that we wrestle against Satan, and all his evil partners…

Ephesians 6:12…  For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.  (ESV)

And what is the Apostle Paul’s answer to standing up to Satan and his fallen demon friends ??  The Apostle Paul tells us in the next verse…

Ephesians 6:13…   Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.  (NKJV)        [I spent 12 days writing about God’s 6 piece set of spiritual armor, that you can read about in this link – https://godsmanforever.com/2015/05/06/12-days-of-writing-titled-gods-whole-set-of-spiritual-armor/]

The Apostle John goes on to say this, in the opening scripture… “But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.”     And what does this mean, that those who are fearful, have not been made perfect in love.” ??  My friends, this means these fearful people are not filled with the Holy Spirit (born again)…AND, once saved by God’s grace, allowing the Holy Spirit to take total control of their life…(Ephesians 5:18-20– be filled with the Holy Spirit)…

One has to be graced with salvation by God, through saving faith alone in the Lord Jesus Christ…to be filled with the Holy Spirit…  God uses the “good news” gospel of Christ message to save sinners, who seek the Lord to become their personal Lord and Savior…  [See P.S. below, for a gospel presentation]

And once a person has become a redeemed, “born again” Christian, they possess the key to the elimination of fear of all kinds…  The Apostle John reveals this key in the opening scripture… perfect love casts out fear…   This perfect love”  is the love of Christ that will fill the heart, mind, and soul of the believer, who places their lives into the Lord’s hands…  God wants us to humbly come before Him…telling Him that we can in no way direct our own lives without the help from the Holy Spirit, that God has given to all of His redeemed children to guide and direct every facet of their lives…

There you have it my friends…  By allowing the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit, to take control of your life…the Holy Spirit will to be able to fend off Satan and his evil attempts to cause fear, anxiety, and a host of other sins… [See James 4:7-8]   Satan has lost the battle, once a person has been graced with salvation, and promised eternal life in heaven with the Lord once they die…  But Satan will do his best to keep this new believer’s soul he has lost to God, from sharing their testimony and/or the gospel of Christ, to those around them that still possess fear, because they have not been made perfect in love.”

Don’t allow Satan to keep you in fear from spreading the gospel of Christ at every opportunity God gives you…  Humble yourself before God…confess, repent, and turn from any and all sins…(1 John 1:9)…  And by the power of the Holy Spirit, share the “good news” gospel of Christ message of the cross to family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors EVERY time the Holy Spirit urges you to do so…  He will give you opportunities to share your faith on a regular basis, if you pray to God for these opportunities…  And God promises that the Holy Spirit will give you the words to share your faith [Luke 12:12], if you ask God with absolute faith, and without doubts that the Holy Spirit will do so…

James 1:5-6…  If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.  (NKJV)

Gracious God and heavenly Father…I thank You and I praise You for who You are…  I thank You Father for how the Holy Spirit goes before me to guide me…to protect me…and to help me live a life that will be pleasing to You…  Help us all to understand that any and all fears can be put to rest, when we live a “Christ centered”, Spirit filled life…  And Father, I pray You would urge anyone reading these words who is not now a “born again” redeemed child of Yours, to open the gospel message below, and seek the Lord while He may still be found…[Isaiah 55:6-7]  I pray for hearts and lives to be changed by You for an eternity, in the blink of an eye…In Jesus’ most precious name, and for His sake…Amen…

Blessings in Christ,  bruce

  1. vickysforum says:

Fear sets in when our focus is not on Jesus Christ. When we are focussing on our circumstances and on what is going on around the world, it is easy to become fearful and anxious. However, when our trust is in the Lord and we look up to Him at all times, we realize that there is nothing to fear. God has everything under control; all we got to do is rest in Him.
