I AM…the true vine. – Fearless Living

AS MANY AS THE STARS IN THE SKY…

He took him outside and said, “Look up at the sky and count the stars—if indeed you can count them.” Then he said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” Genesis 15:5 NIV https://genesis.bible/genesis-15-5

These very words were said to Abram,, one fateful night by God, the Almighty. Do you understand the gravity of these words?? If perhaps you don’t, let me tell you a story.

Abram had a wife called Sarai. But for many many years, they bore no children. So you can imagine how startled Abram was when God told him he would have offspring as many as the stars of the sky. But God made a promise to him.

He was told he would be the father of many nations. God changed his name from Abram to Abraham and Sarai’s to Sarah. Their blessing of many descendants even needed them to get a change of name. However it was too impossible for them to believe. They were too old to bear a child. Abraham was 100 years old,, Sarah even laughed at the thought of having a son. The couple had even planned that since they had no rightful heir, their servants would inherit their wealth.

But is anything impossible to God. Nothing absolutely nothing . The promise came to life and they bore a son Isaac, and through him many descendants. As God had promised.

So let’s go back to the first paragraph.(I recommend you read it again). Do you see? Have you read between the lines? God was not only speaking into Abraham’s life, He was speaking into yours.

As many as the stars in the night sky, so are your blessings. That’s just how much God will bless you. 👏 You have infinite blessings in store, some of which you have experienced , I’m sure you can testify. You are alive, you are breathing. You are a fighter. You are an overcomer. It doesn’t matter what situation you are in, God can turn it around in a second. If a “barren” woman could bear a child, what can God not do regarding your life.

God is whispering to you today, “I have blessings for you”. Belt up and get ready. Don’t be like Sarah who laughed at God’s promise. His promises are Yes and Amen. As sure as the sun ☀ rises in the east, so should you be sure of God’s promises in your life. No blessing God destined for you will ever pass you. Rest in that.

Take a deep breath……… . “BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD 🦁” (PSALMS 46:10)

But before you go, please recognize the need to wait for your promise. Pray to God to give you patience. Abraham did not bear a child instantly, he had to wait for God’s time. Everything thrives in it’s season. The promise needs the right season. Good things take time, be patient dear one ❤️

Love, Liz
