“God’s Supernatural Peace”
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also ye are called in one body, and be ye thankful.
Colossians 3:15
Have you ever had a thirst for the peace of God? I believe that God’s peace comes to us when we thirst for His peace. And believe me, you and I need to experience the peace of God.
The world needs God’s peace. God’s peace brings us to a place of forgiveness and thanksgiving. And God’s peace comes when we trust and obey Him. God’s peace comes when we say in our hearts, “nevertheless, not my will, but THY will be done.” And then as we say it, we walk like we believe it and desire it.
When we allow God’s peace to rule in our hearts, that means we allow God to be our source in all things. Will allow Him to umpire and referee our fights and disputes. And we trust His ability to accomplish His good will both in our lives and the lives of others.
This morning I thanked God for HIS PEACE. His peace is the peace that passes all understanding. And when you and I love and trust God, His perfect peace is available to rule in our hearts. When His peace rules in our hearts, then we not only have peace that others can’t grasp, but we desire that peace for them also. May God’s peace establish our thoughts and intent of our hearts today, and make it clear to us when we are “going out bounds” in our walk today.
