“Are you ON FIRE for the Lord ??”

I am reposting this writing from 8/01/2020, because it is perhaps the most important post I have made in over 9 years of posting a faith based blog every day…

The title of the post is… “Are You a Christian in God’s Eyes, and ON FIRE for the Lord, or not ??”.    Many people call themselves a Christian…but if they are not filled with the Holy Spirit, by God Himself…”born again” and cleansed by the shed blood of Jesus Christ…then they are only a Christian in their own mind…

Being “ON FIRE” for the Lord, means that God is absolutely first in your life…  You are filled with the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 5:18-20) most of the time, meaning you are doing your best to live in obedience to the Holy Spirit that God has indwelt in you, to guide and direct your life…  You should be reading the Word (Bible) every day…praying to God to forgive you any sins the Holy Spirit will convict you of…going to a Bible believing & teaching church…using your spiritual gift to help your church body run well…and in general forget about yourself and what you want, by being humbled before the Lord, allowing the Holy Spirit to guide and direct all that you say and do…  Is this easy ??  No, but you will be blessed beyond belief, as the Holy Spirit helps you grow and mature in the 9 fruit of the Spirit the Apostle Paul pens, in…

Galatians 5:22-23…  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, ²³ gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.  (NKJV)

With God in control of your life, you will be empowered with the Holy Spirit…  And with this supernatural power, God promises this, as penned by the Apostle Paul, in…

Ephesians 3:20…  Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,  (NKJV)       [Note, this power is the Holy Spirit]

God can open doors for you, and help you in ways you could NEVER do in your own strength…  If this sounds like a better way of life…giving God all of your burdens to carry for you…take the time to open and read this post you will find in the following link-

Gracious God and heavenly Father…I thank You and praise You for saving me by Your grace and mercy…  I pray Father…that anyone not now living as one of your redeemed, “born again” children, with the Holy Spirit in total control of their life…would open this link above, and find out how they too could be blessed beyond belief, when they are filled with all the fullness of Christ…  I pray for Your miraculous ability to change the lives of every reader…in Jesus’ most precious name, and for His sake…Amen…
