“Why prayers aren’t answered !!”

If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me. But verily God has heard me; He hath attended to the voice of my prayer. Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor His mercy from me.

Psalm 66: 18-20

The Bible teaches us that confession and repentance of our sins is necessary in order for God to hear our prayers. In fact, if a lost person desires to be heard by God, that person must first come to God thru the Lord Jesus Christ in a prayer of faith, confession, and repentance.

Sometimes we try to pray to God without approaching Him in HIS way. You see, we attempt to do it our way. And there is only ONE WAY to approach Him. Jesus told us in John 14:6 that HE and HE alone is that way. No man can come to the Father EXCEPT thru Jesus Christ.

When people complain to me about their prayers not being answered, I encourage them to read these scriptures. They hold the key to God’s ear. And God always hears and answers our prayers, WHEN we pray to Him, HIS WAY. God’s grace makes it all happen!
