“Today, we remember”

And almost all things are by the law purged with blood, and without shedding of blood is no remission.

Hebrews 9:22

Much blood has been shed for us. Monday, we memorialize those that have paid with their life blood, the cost of freedom. We honor them and their family the best way we know how to do it. We thank God for freedom, and those who have shed life’s blood to accomplish it for us.

We also remember the blood that our Lord Jesus Christ shed on the cross at Calvary, in order to accomplish our ultimate freedom. I give thanks for the blood of brave men and women who have fought and died to keep us free. More especially for the sinless blood of Christ, so that we can be free from our sins. I thank God that Jesus paid it all with His precious blood, For you see, only HIS shed blood is able to save us from our sins.
