“With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.”

I could name several current events that are causing grief and anxiety in the world. It isn’t all that difficult for hearts to sink under the weight of destruction.

Even as our world is crumbling, God continues to be an endless source of salvation, peace, and joy.

His well of living water doesn’t run dry.

His consistency and power provide peace to those who trust Him.

His gifts fill us with joy.

Draw from the wells of salvation that do not run dry. Fill your mind with more of God’s promises and less of the world’s lies.

“Behold, God is my salvation;

I will trust, & will not be afraid;

for the Lord God is my strength & my song,

and he has become my salvation.”

With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.

And you will say in that day:

“Give thanks to the Lord,

call upon his name,

make known his deeds among the peoples, proclaim that his name is exalted.”

Isaiah 12:2-4 ESV
