“Are you ready to be forgiven by God ??”

For thou, Lord, art good, ready to forgive, and plenteous in mercy unto all that call upon thee.

Psalm 86:5

This scripture is very good news for those of us who need and seek forgiveness. You see, God is READY to forgive. He is ready to forgive because He is full of mercy unto all who have the good sense to ask Him for it. God is full of compassion. And the word teaches us that His compassions fail not.

But here is the sad and the bad news. Even though God is ready to forgive, some just are not ready to be forgiven. And some people on planet earth will pass away into eternity today without experiencing the forgiveness of our Holy and Righteous God who stands today, ready to forgive. And believe me, God has enough mercy to go around for me and for you.

This morning I praise God for forgiveness. He is eager to grant it to us. And I promise you this, America and the rest of His world need His forgiveness. Do you have the good sense to ask for it? And are you as eager to receive it as God is to give it? For you see, God’s salvation is a free gift to all who will take it. Are you ready for God?

For I guarantee you this: God is always ready for us!
