“Put ALL of God’s Armor on”

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Ephesians 6:17

Do you realize that if you belong to the Lord Jesus Christ, that He has given to you certain spiritual weapons? We are told that these weapons are mighty, and that they are very effective. But you are weaponless without the helmet of salvation.

First things first friends. You have to accept the free gift of God in the salvation provided only by the Lord Jesus Christ.  Then He provides us with our first weapon which is the Word of God. Your most effective weapon against the wiles of the devil is the Word of God. When attacked, draw it like a sword. It cuts deep, and it touches lives. It is alive and well.

The Bible will either become the absolute authority in your life, or you will allow the Bible to become obsolete in your life.  Is your Bible “absolute” in your life and home, or is it “obsolete”?  You know the answer, and so does God.
