“Confess your sins to God”

He that covereth his sins shall not prosper, but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

Proverbs 28:13

Have you ever witnessed someone attempting to “COVER-UP” their sins? If you haven’t, you might want to watch the news today. The promise given for the sinner who confesses and forsakes their sins is MERCY. Notice, God didn’t say HE would give us JUSTICE, and that is very good news for you and I. By the way, the ONE you and I need to confess our sins to is God, for it is only God who can forgive those sins. We are to confess our faults to one another, and a fault is not necessarily in itself a sin.

When you sin and believe me, my brothers and sisters, you will sin…don’t attempt to hide from God what He already knew about you before you even committed the act. Then, be sure and forsake that sin. When we do that, God delivers an abundant supply of mercy thru His perfect love and grace.
