“Why did Jesus come to earth ??”
For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost Luke 19:10
Why did Jesus leave Heaven and come to earth? Why did He suffer all that he did suffer, even to the point of giving His life? The answer is right here in Luke 19. Jesus came to seek and to save those of us who were or are lost. Jesus, in the Person of God’s Holy Spirit, is still passing thru cities and towns today, and knocking on doors. He still speaks softly and tenderly to hurting hearts. He wants us to live, and to live in joy and peace forever.
It is wonderful for me to know that Jesus is seeking out the lost. Have you heard His voice? Have you heard and felt His knock? Have you let Jesus in or shut Him out? Come unto Him in faith and repentance, and He will save you from your sins! And then you can know HIs perfect peace which passes all our understanding.
