Hebrews 13:15… Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name. (NKJV)
I have spent the last two days writing about the spiritual fruit that all Christian’s will produce…or they will not be considered Christian’s in God’s eyes… This may sound harsh or condescending to many of you readers… But I am trying to do my best, out of my love and concern for those around me…to write what the Bible clearly reveals to those who spend the time trying to understand the truth God wants all of us to see…
I wrote about the fact that we cannot bear good fruit as evidence that we are a Christian…without the indwelling of the Holy Spirit… And I’m talking about the Christian who is filled with the Holy Spirit; not the Christian who is less than Spirit filled, because they don’t allow the Holy Spirit to rule their lives… John 15:5… “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” (NKJV)

Yesterday I wrote about the fruit of the Spirit, that is given to the Christian at the time they are received into God’s family…and what must be done in the Christian’s life to remain filled with the Spirit… Here is the link to this day’s writing… https://www.facebook.com/notes/gods-group/gods-group-thoughts-for-6082012-power-from-above/10150850382516437
And today, I will try to finish on other fruit the Christian is called to produce… The opening scripture reminds all Christian’s about the fact that they have been graced with salvation for the sole purpose to praise, and honor, and glorify God with all that they say and do…1 Corinthians 6:20… For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s. (NKJV)
Other scripture to back up my thoughts are…Psalm 86:12… I will praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart, And I will glorify Your name forevermore. (NKJV) …And this scripture spoken by Jesus, in…Matthew 5:16… Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. (NKJV)
The seeds that are to be planted by the Christian, by sharing God’s Word to those around them (the gospel of Christ), are also known as fruit that only God can develop into a Christian, in God’s eyes… At one point in the apostle Paul’s writing…he talks about the choice of dying and being with the Lord in glory…or remaining here in the flesh to share the gospel of Christ to those in need…
Philippians 1:20-22… according to my earnest expectation and hope that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death. 21 For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. 22 But if I live on in the flesh, this will mean fruit from my labor; yet what I shall choose I cannot tell. (NKJV)
Paul decides to stay and share the gospel of Christ, in…Philippians 1:24-26… Nevertheless to remain in the flesh is more needful for you. 25 And being confident of this, I know that I shall remain and continue with you all for your progress and joy of faith, 26 that your rejoicing for me may be more abundant in Jesus Christ by my coming to you again. (NKJV)
And lastly, there is the fruit of righteousness, that is called peaceable…by those who are living a righteous, God centered life…always looking to the Lord for His promised guidance and perfect direction…Hebrews 12:11… Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it. (NKJV)
In this scripture, the writer of Hebrews had just finished telling us that if we are a child of God, and we turn our backs on Him and do our own thing…God will chasten and scourge us until we come back to Him…confess and repent of our sins…and again be realigned with the Lord…Hebrews 12:5-10… Here is the link for this important writing… http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=heb12:5-11&version=NKJV
I would be sure there is more in God’s Word in the way of spiritual fruit the Christian must be producing as evidence that they are a Christian… But if you are able to understand all that is in these 3 days of writing…and you are in a continuous state of sanctification…where you are growing in your spiritual knowledge and your spiritual wisdom of the Lord…you will be doing the best that you can to do to be living in the will of God…
Heavenly Father, I pray that these 3 days of writing about the good spiritual fruit we must be producing if we are a Christian…will open the eyes and the ears of those who are not yet filled to overflowing with the Holy Spirit, to their need to dedicate their life to You first… I pray that these Christian’s will then continually try to be filled with the Holy Spirit, who will guide and direct their lives in a way that will be pleasing in Your site… I pray for this for all of us…in Jesus’ most precious name and for His sake…Amen…
