John 10:10The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.  (NKJV)

Believing in Christ, and being accepted into God’s family by God’s grace through faith alone in Jesus Christ; after He becomes the sinner’s personal Lord, Master, and Savior…gives the sinner a new life, as they die to their old way of life, and become a new creature in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17)…

The Christian is filled with the Holy Spirit that God has given them at the time of salvation… The Holy Spirit gives the Christian power that they would not have without Him, if He is left in total charge of the Christian’s life… (Acts 1:8)… I wrote about this power of supernatural peace that the fullness of the Holy Spirit can and will provide the Christian yesterday; and I posted the following scripture written by the apostle Paul, inEphesians 3:20Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, (NKJV)

I am not sure why we as humans, once we become new Christian’s (or even as mature Christian’s), many times decide that we know better that this perfect Helper, the Holy Spirit…that God has given us to direct our lives… I made this mistake myself, by somehow taking back control from the Holy Spirit for several years…  I write about this so often, because this seems to be the norm, rather than the exception for new Christian’s; as well as for many long time Christian’s…

I see so many Youth Group kids graduate from High School, and go out into the working world, or on to college; and just when they need all the benefits that the Holy Spirit can give them…they take back control, thinking they can do a better job… WRONG!!  This teaching that Paul is giving us in this scripture above, is absolutely true !!  “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,”…

With God helping us, instead of being pushed to the side…I believe all young Christian’s would be able to get better grades in school…climb the corporate ladder…and in general, no matter what they are trying to accomplish, be able to live happier, more productive lives, because God would be helping them if they were totally dependant on Him, and not themselves…Romans 8:31…  What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?  (NKJV)

Don’t make the same dumb mistake that I did… Use the helping hand of the Lord, who wants all of His children to depend on Him, instead of themselves… The full power of the Holy Spirit will help you in ways you could never imagine, to accomplish things you never thought possible… God wants His children to succeed in life…  But we must step aside, and let Him help us… This scripture written by Paul is also true…Philippians 4:13I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.  (NKJV)

This scripture doesn’t mean that God will give you whatever you pray for…  But it does mean that the Christian who is walking in the fullness of the Holy Spirit…will find that doors will be opened, and that God will provide the strength to overcome any man made obstacle or trial that life puts in front of them…

Don’t waste a moment of the joy and the peace God wants for all of His children… If you are a Christian, ask the Lord to take back full control of your life (if He is not now first, and in charge)… Come back to the Lord by confessing and repenting of any and all sins (1 John 1:9); and you might just be amazed at how your life is renewed by the awesome power and supernatural strength of the Holy Spirit…   If you are a Christian, He has always been there (Hebrews 13:5)… But you must remain humble and allow the Holy Spirit rule your life…

Heavenly Father, I pray that Christian readers in all stages of spiritual growth…can clearly see the advantage of allowing the Holy Spirit to totally control their lives… Help us Lord, to step back and let You do what will always be the right and the perfect thing for our lives… Give us this unwavering faith that we need, in order to trust You no matter what…in Jesus’ most precious name and for His sake…Amen…
