John 8:29… “And He who sent Me is with Me. The Father has not left Me alone, for I always do those things that please Him.” (NKJV)
Since Jesus never sinned (not once while He walked the earth)…Jesus indeed, ALWAYS did what His Father asked Him to do… Jesus lived a perfect sinless life; and His shed blood on the cross at Calvary, will cover the sins of those who become one of God’s children…2 Corinthians 5:21… For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. (NKJV)
If only all Christian’s could live in obedience, where we would ALWAYS do what God wants us to do… Well this just isn’t humanly possible by anyone, no matter how hard they try…1 John 1:8… If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. (NKJV)
Jesus speaks about never being left alone, in the opening scripture…because He never sinned… We as Christian’s on the other hand, because we will sin…need to be worried about not separating ourselves from the blessings and the promises the Lord makes to His children who are living righteously in His sight… I am here to tell you from my own experiences…that there can be sins lurking in the heart of any Christian, which if un-confessed will leave the Christian in a state of being separated from all the blessings and the absolute peace and joy I so often write about…for those Spirit filled Christian’s who are walking in the Spirit…
The apostle Paul writes this, in…Galatians 5:16-17… I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. (NKJV)
Once the Christian has sins that are un-confessed, they will not be walking in the Spirit (not Spirit filled); and the Bible tells us that God has the right to chastise or even scourge His children (Hebrews 12:5-10), until these sins are confessed and repented of to bring us back into alignment with the will of God (1 John 1:9)…
If the Christian doesn’t confess and repent of their sins, they will be like a car with one flat tire… Sure we may be able to continue living in sin, but we will be struggling under our own power without God’s help… Christian’s will only have full supernatural power and run at optimum speed (while pleasing the Lord at the same time), when they are filled with the Holy Spirit and He is carrying our load…
Jesus tells us this, in…Matthew 11:28-29… “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” (NKJV)
Once the Christian finally realizes that the Lord is ready, willing, and able to take charge of His children’s lives…life will become so much less stressful knowing that God is in total control of our lives, and that He doesn’t make any mistakes… I have a hard time understanding why we still believe we can outthink and out plan God’s perfect path for our lives… The wise Solomon, who wrote 1/2 of the Book of Proverbs, writes this, in…
Proverbs 3:5-7… Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. 7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil. (NKJV)
This simple, easy to understand scripture written by Solomon, who God tells us was the wisest man of the times, and maybe ever (1 Kings 3:10-12), is really advice that all Christian’s should do their best to live up to…
Heavenly Father, I pray that we all understand and adhere to this simple, straightforward advice from Your servant Solomon… Help all of us Lord, to memorize these 3 short verses…and keep them at the forefront of our minds… Help us Lord, to live a life that will not only be pleasing to You, but ever so much easier knowing that You are in control… I pray for this seemingly easy answer to awaken all of Your children, who are struggling because they are too stubborn to give up control to You… Help us Lord to lean on You in the good times and the bad… I pray for this in Jesus’ most precious name and for His sake…Amen…
