I wrote yesterday about the inerrant Word of God, the Bible… I posted a link for writing I did almost 2 years ago, about how to prove mathematically that every word in the Bible is truth, for those who doubt all or parts of the Bible as being inspired by God, and nothing but pure truth…Proverbs 30:5… Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him. (NKJV)
2 Timothy 3:16-17… All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. (NKJV)
I could spend days writing about why all Christians should be spending time in the Bible on a regular basis (hopefully every day) to explore why reading the Bible is a “profitable” thing for a Christian to do…
The opening scripture, spoken by Jesus, reveals that those who hear and keep the Word of God will be blessed… The Apostle Paul wrote this about hearing “the word of God”, in…
Romans 10:14-16… How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? 15 And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!” 16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our report?” 17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (NKJV)
Ultimately hearing, and then keeping God’s Word must originate from God’s written Word, the Bible… Whether it is taught by a preacher who learns from God’s Word, or from one reading the Bible ourselves…the truth on how a person is to live their lives for the Lord must originate from the Bible…
The Bible is filled with everything a person must know in order to receive the blessings God wants to shower upon those who understand the truth God has preserved for us there… The Apostle John records what Jesus reveals about this truth that we can only find in God’s Word, with this scripture, in…John 8:32… “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (NKJV)
What is this truth, and what will we be set free from ?? Jesus tells us at the beginning of His public ministry, in…Mark 1:14-15… Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, 15 and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.” (NKJV)

The Bible, if digested for the spiritual wisdom found there…will indeed make the man of God “complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” And of coarse who doesn’t want blessings from God… But first Jesus Christ must become the sinners personal Lord, Master, and Savior… accomplished by understanding and obeying the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ…
Heavenly Father, I pray that the truth from Your Word will resonate with a new found calling for those who don’t yet know Your Son Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior… I pray Father, that understanding and obeying the gospel of Your Son Jesus Christ will become a top priority for those in need… And that Your grace and Your blessings would be showered upon those who humbly submit to Your will and Your ways… I pray for Your blessings and the hope found in eternal life with You for all of us, in Jesus’ most precious name and for His sake…Amen…
