As we prepare to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, in less than 3 weeks…all Christians should use this most opportunistic time to share with their friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers…their own salvation testimony and/or the “Good News” of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ…
The Apostle Paul speaks of putting on “the armor of light” in this scripture above… Jesus Himself tells His followers this, in…Matthew 5:14 & 16… “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” (NKJV)
If you are a Christian, there is no better time to show those around you that you have indeed “put on the Lord Jesus Christ”… How can we as Christians be filled with the joy and the peace that this Christmas season should bring ?? Our only hope of experiencing this absolute joy and peace God wants for all of His children, is by turning from any sins that we are burdened with, and confess and repent of them…
1 John 1:9… If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (NKJV) …The unrighteousness the Apostle John is speaking about here, is not the positional righteousness Christians have received by the indwelling of Christ’s righteousness… Christians are complete in Jesus Christ, and will never lose His perfect righteousness… But as Christian’s, we can succumb to Satan’s temptations and our own lustful fleshly desires…
The Apostle Paul warns Christians against this, as he writes…“But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.
As Christians that want to walk with the Lord, we must turn from our sins and confess them before Him… The sweet fellowship that comes with being filled with the Holy Spirit (submitting to total control by the Holy Spirit), can be readily seen in this scripture the Apostle Paul wrote to the Ephesians, in…

Heavenly Father, I pray that all of us can see the joy and the peace that Your servant the Apostle Paul writes about in this scripture from Your Word… Help all of Your children Lord, to look to You for the hope and the joy that You want to fill their hearts and lives with…as they turn from their sins, confess them…and are again walking in the sweet fellowship that living as an obedient child that is filled with the Holy Spirit will bring… I pray that You would urge all of Your children, to humbly submit their lives to Your will and Your ways…in Jesus’ most precious name and for His sake…Amen…
