Ephesians 1:18-19… the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of Hiscalling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, ¹⁹ and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power  (NKJV)

We were just talking this past Wednesday, in the Bible study I have been going to…about how important sharing our own testimony and the gospel of Christ is, to those around us who might not know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior…  God uses His Word (the Bible) to share His gospel message… God uses pastors at God’s house of worship, to spread the gospel message and other truth from God’s Word… And God uses His children, to share the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ (plant the seed), into those in need of hearing the truth that God’s “calling” or “Good News” through the gospel of Christ provides…

The Christian’s primary responsibility, besides glorifying God in all that they say and do, is to be prepared…and then to share this “Good News” gospel message of Christ, at every opportune time that the Holy Spirit provides them… What we as Christians must understand, is that God may be urging us to share the gospel message to someone, who might never get the chance to hear God’s “calling” from anyone else…  How sad would this be, if we neglect this command given to all of God’s children by Christ Himself, in His last words before ascending into heaven (Matthew 28:19-20)…and the missed opportunity turns into a tragedy, because the person unexpectedly dies shortly thereafter…

Some people will have no interest in even listening to the gospel message… Some will hear it, but will only believe in their mind for a short while, until persecution strikes… Some people will hear the gospel message, and believe it in their minds…but allow the world to choke out the gospel message…and some people will hear and respond to the “calling” God has given them, by repenting and turning from their sins… God’s grace is accomplished with saving faith, and a change of the sinners heart known as re-generation, that only God and His grace are capable of providing…Ephesians 2:8-9…

I write today, to my brothers and sisters in Christ…expressing the urgency to share the gospel message with those around them in need…  But I also write to those who are being approached by a Christian…who is trying to share their own testimony, or the gospel of Christ with them…  If you are seemingly being somehow urged to listen…it just might be God drawing you to Himself… Jesus tells us this, in…John 6:44…  Noone can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day.  (NKJV)

Never be so stubborn in your beliefs…that you remain blinded by Satan (2 Corinthians 4:4), to the truth God wants all un-redeemed people to understand (1 Timothy 2:3-4)… I have spoken to people who tell me that they have their god, and I have mine…  Friends, there is only One God…the Creator of the heaven and the earth, and all that dwells therein…1 Corinthians 8:6… And there is only one way to get to heaven, as Jesus tells us, in…John 14:6…  Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. Noone comes to the Father except through Me.” (NKJV)

Heavenly Father, I pray that Your Word would open the eyes, and allow those that You do not know as Your child, to see the truth presented today from Your Word…  Urge all of us Lord, to be open to understanding, and then doing Your will, to become pleasing in Your sight…  I pray for Your grace, as presented from Your “calling” or “Good News” through the gospel of Christ…will fall upon those in need, through seeds planted by all of Your children…in Jesus’ most precious name and for His sake…Amen…
