I have an acquaintance on the internet, which I have come to admire for their writing… When I saw something that they posted about my God, which a true Christian just wouldn’t post…it concerned me… Our responsibility as Christians, is to speak to someone out of our love and concern for them, if we see or hear something spoken against God…
The Apostle Paul pens this, in…2 Timothy 2:24-26… And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, 25 in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth, 26 and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will. (NKJV)
The Apostle Peter pens this, in…1Peter 3:15… But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is inyou, with meekness and fear; (NKJV)
I sent them a personal note with my concerns for their eternal future; and they sent me a response asking me why everything I write is only about Christianity… They asked me why I couldn’t consider any other religions in this world to be valid…
As a believer in Jesus Christ, and His finished work on the cross…my hope comes directly from God, and abounds with-in me because of the power of the Holy Spirit given to me by God… God graced me with the gift of salvation through saving faith alone in Jesus Christ…Ephesians 2:8-9… We just can’t earn our way to heaven…
Interestingly…I just wrote about this “Hope not Seen” just yesterday (2 days ago for you)… I posted this scripture written by the Apostle Paul, in…Romans 15:13… Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the HolySpirit. (NKJV)

As a Bible believing Christian (something that all believers that are Spirit filled should believe), I believe that every word in the entire Bible is nothing but truth… It does require extreme faith to believe this to be true… But without this extreme faith, and a commitment to following the Lord with allof our heart, our mind, and our soul…a person cannot be walking with the Lord as a Spirit filled Christian…Ephesians 5:18-20…
The writer of the Book of Hebrews pens this in…Hebrews 11:6… But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (NKJV)
The opening scripture says it all; when Luke penned this…“there is no other nameunderheaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
In doing a search on religions in the world today, the consensus seems to indicate that there are 21 or 22 major religions… Here is a site with a pie chart, showing the major religions, with a ranking by number… (About 6.4 billion total people) http://www.adherents.com/Religions_By_Adherents.html
Out of all of these religions, only one…Christianity, with 2.1 billion people…has their God being able to conquer death, by rising from the grave… Without this miracle of Jesus’ resurrection, there would be no hope, nor any basis for the Christian faith… And while we are at it…how can any Christian believe the miracle of Jesus’ resurrection, “whom God raised from the dead”…and have a problem with the Creation, or any of the other miracles that fill the Bible from Genesis through Revelation ?? It all boils down to faith…
There are those that don’t believe this miracle of Jesus’ resurrection… But Jesus was seen by over 500 people, as he walked the earth for some 40 days after His rose from the grave… (Before He ascended into heaven to be seated at the right hand of His Father…1 Corinthians 15:6)... This link refers to archaeological discoveries which support the accuracy of the Bible, as well as non-biblical evidence, confirmed by the writings of historians, that God did indeed, raise Jesus from the dead…
Jesus Himself, quoted the Old Testament time and time again…and with this recorded scripture, confirms the inerrant accuracy of the Old Testament, in…Matthew 5:17-18… “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. 18 For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will bynomeans pass from the law till all is fulfilled.” (NKJV)
I don’t expect the non-believers of Christianity to change their views overnight… Scripture tells us this, in these two pieces of scripture penned by the Apostle Paul…1 Corinthians 2:14… But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. (NKJV)
1 Corinthians 1:18… For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. (NKJV)
Jesus tells us that there will be few who find the “narrow gate” leading to eternal life in heaven…Matthew 7:13-14… “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” (NKJV)
If there were several religions, and many ways to find eternal life in heaven…why would Jesus tell us that “there are few who find it” ?? Jesus tells us the truth, when He speaks these recorded words, in…John 14:6… Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. Noone comes to the Father except through Me.” (NKJV)
The way to eternal life in heaven is through Jesus, by understanding and obeying the gospel of Jesus Christ… Here is a link for this most important days writing about how God’s grace is received to become a Christian in God’s eyes; through obeying the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ…
Heavenly Father, I pray that Your Word would cut right to the very soul of those who have not yet obeyed the gospel of Your Son Jesus Christ…Hebrews 4:12-13… I pray Father, that You would draw those in need of Your saving grace to Yourself (John 6:44)…and that they would not sleep until they further explore what the truth from Your Word will hopefully reveal to the very core of their soul… I pray for this godly spiritual discernment for all of those in need…in Jesus’ most precious name and for His sake…Amen…
