David, sooner or later, always did the will of God, who tells us that David was “a man after My own heart, who will do all My will.”…Acts 13:22b…    Friends, living in God’s will with your sins forgiven, is what gave David the ability to sleep like a baby…even when he was being sought by king Saul who was desperately trying to kill him…1 Samuel 19…

We know David asked the Lord to search his heart, in order to show him what he needed to pray for, in…Psalm 139:23-24…  Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; ²⁴ And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.  (NKJV)

This is what I believe David means when he pens this, above…“Meditate within your heart on your bed, and be still.”   Upon confessing and repenting of the sins that the Lord revealed to David, David would again become practically righteous in God’s sight, with his sins forgiven…and would then be able to fall asleep…

Do you have the courage to ask the Lord to show you your hidden sins ??  If you’re a Christian, God promises to answer any prayer that is in His will…1 John 5:14-15…  I have to believe God will reveal any hidden sins that you must confess and repent of, before you are deemed righteous again in His sight…1 John 1:9…

My writing a few days ago was titled…“Walk in the Truth”, that can be found @ www.Godsmanforever.com  by typing 1/17/2014 into the search window…  This day’s writing will go into detail about how anxiety, hatred, anger, bitterness, and any other ungodly emotion in our lives…can be brought under control by the power of the Holy Spirit, in the life of the Christian who is walking in the truth (walking in the Spirit – Galatians 5:16) as a Spirit filled Christian (Ephesians 5:18-20)…  It refers to 2 other day’s writing, with my own personal testimony of how God gave me supernatural peace and joy, once I finally submitted my life to the Lord, after several tears of living for myself…

Friends, living for the Lord as a follower (disciple) of Jesus Christ, who is walking in sweet fellowship with the Lord…will provide God’s richest blessings that will give any true Christian a clear conscience, that will have them sleeping like a baby in no time…

But a heart that is filled with the love of Christ will provide so much more in added blessings from God, like a supernatural peace “which surpasses all understanding,” (Philippians 4:6-7)…a supernatural love of Christ which passes our mortal knowledge… Ephesians 3:16-20…and a fullness of joy only attained when the Christian is filled with the Holy Spirit… John 15:11…Colossians 1:11…&…Jude 1:24…

Heavenly Father, I am ever so thankful for Your servant David, and for the scripture You inspired him to write that is so helpful in showing me what will be pleasing in Your sight…  Help all of us Lord, to learn to live in Your will and Your ways… I pray that You will provide restful sleep and Your richest blessings in the Spirit filled lives of Your obedient children, in Jesus’ most precious name and for His sake…Amen…
