Romans 3:24-25being justified freely by His gracethrough the redemption that is inChristJesus, 25 whom God set forth as apropitiation by Hisblood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearanceGod had passedover the sins that were previouslycommitted,  (NKJV)

The scripture verse…Romans 3:25…was quoted by Pastor John Piper, in his opinion…as being the most important single verse in the Bible…  When I heard this well-known and respected man of God say this, I had to listen to his entire 6.03 minute audio explanation…  Here is the link to this most important analysis of this scripture verse…Romans 3:25…by John Piper…     https://soundcloud.com/askpastorjohn/the-bibles-most-important

When I have asked people about whether they believe heaven and hell exist, the answers I have received have ranged from…“I believe hell is what we go through here on earth, as we pass through life’s trials; and that God loves ALL of us, and would never send anyone to hell”…all the way to…“I don’t believe in heaven or hell, because I don’t believe in God”…

Don’t be blinded by Satan, and his lies…  Study God’s Word, the Bible…to get truthful answers as to the reality of heaven, hell, and God’s existence…  The Bible (God’s recorded Word for us) is absolutely clear…that the wrath of God will fall upon all those who are not graced by God with salvation before they die…

While it is true that God does love ALL of us…God despises sin…  And our sin, if not covered by the shed blood of Jesus Christ at the cross, will lead to the wrath of God coming down upon us, if we die in our sinsJohn 8:24

My last day’s writing was titled…“Choose Sin or God’s Help” (2/07/2014), goes into detail as to what we will be missing in the way of God’s help, if we live in unconfessed sin…including what the “second death” (hell) that some will experience, is all about…   We see the words “second death” penned by the apostle John in…Revelation 21:8…  Here we see God’s impending wrath take full effect on those that don’t ever becomejustified freely by His gracethrough the redemption that is inChristJesus

Once an unredeemed sinner truly understands that God is perfectly justified in sending them to hell…they will be more inclined to listening to the general call for all sinners to repent and seek the kingdom of God…Acts 2:38

The key word in the opening scripture, which describes God’s saving gracethrough the redemption that is inChristJesus, is…propitiation…  All of us are sinners from birth, and deserve nothing but eternal damnation…Romans 3:23…  Since we can in no way save ourselves from going straight to hell when we die…God sent His only Son Jesus Christ down from heaven, to give us the only possible way we can be deemed justified as righteous in God’s sight…

2 Corinthians 5:21…  For He made Him who knewnosin to besin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. (NKJV)

The incredible fact that Jesus took upon Himself a lifetime of sins from every one of God’s redeemed children, and God replaced impending wrath for these sinners with His saving grace…is what the word  propitiation is all about…  Here is an excellent description of what propitiation means, using scripture verses to explain…  http://www.gotquestions.org/propitiation.html

I write today, to hopefully allow God, through His errant, living and powerful Word, the Bible (Hebrews 4:12-13)…to awaken those who are still not justified freely by His grace…and therefore still on the path to eternal destruction…  However, until the unredeemed sinner is first drawn in by God (John 6:44), they will not see the kingdom of heaven…

John 6:44 Noone can come to Me unless the Father who sent Medrawshim; and I will raise him up at the last day.  (NKJV)

Does all this scripture I have posted so far look like foolishness to you ??  The apostle Paul pens this, in…1 Corinthians 2:14But the natural man doesnotreceive the things of the Spirit of God, for theyarefoolishness to him; nor can heknowthem, because they are spirituallydiscerned.  (NKJV)   There has got to be a reason, if you have read this far…

The apostle Paul had just penned the following scripture in the chapter before this foolishness verse… It gives us insight into how God changes foolishness into belief, for those God saves…1 Corinthians 1:18For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.  (NKJV)

Jesus tells His disciples (and us) this all important truth, as recorded by the apostle John, in…John 14:6Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. Noone comes to the FatherexceptthroughMe.” (NKJV)

The way to heavenis through this “message of the cross, which involves understanding and obedience to the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ… (See link at the bottom for more on God’s grace)  The truthis found in the Word of God…and it will set the sinner free from Satan’s chains of bondage to sin…John 8:32And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (NKJV)  And the “lifethat Jesus speaks about, is eternal life in heaven with His Father…

God gave us the Bible for us to understand what saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is all about, by hearing the Word of God…Romans 10:16-17But they have notallobeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our report?” 17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.  (NKJV)

Unbelievers can hear the gospel “good news” of Jesus Christ from God’s redeemed children, who have been commanded to go out and share their own testimonies and/or the gospel of their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to those around them…   This should include their families…people in their workplace…their neighbors…or even people they meet on the street…  This command for all Christians to share the gospel of Christ was given by Jesus Himself, in His last spoken words to those around Him just before they watched, as Jesus ascended into heaven to sit at the right hand of God the Father…Matthew 28:19-20

Unbelievers can hear the gospel of Christ by reading God’s Word…where the gospel of Christ is presented throughout the Bible…  Jesus tells us this, in…Matthew 4:17From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”  (NKJV)   Repenting, and turning from one’s sins, as one seeks the Lord with ALLof their heart, their mind, and their soul…is seen in several scripture verses from the Book of Deuteronomy to Revelation…  Here is a link with the key words of repenting, and turning from one’s sins, and seeking or turning to the Lord with our whole heart…scattered throughout the Bible…  http://www.seekgod.org/bible/repent.html

We can also hear the word of God, the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, presented at most Bible believing, Bible teaching churches that only teach doctrine found in the Bible   God uses His Word, however it is received…along with the Holy Spirit working in the heart, mind, and soul of those God has first drawn in (John 6:44)…through saving faith alone in the Lord Jesus Christ…to grace the sinner with salvation…Ephesians 2:8-9

God’s wrath is indeed real…  But so is the love God has for the world…so much so, that God sent His only Son down from heaven, as recorded by the apostle John, in…John 3:16…  For God so loved the world that HegaveHis only begotten Son, thatwhoeverbelieves in Him should notperish but have everlastinglife.  (NKJV)

Heavenly Father, I pray that You would draw those that You have not yet graced with salvation to Yourself…as their eyes are opened to the truth found in Your Word…  I pray for this gift of grace, and the many temporal and eternal blessings it will bring into the lives of all of those who are redeemed by the shed blood of Your Son…in Jesus’ most precious name I pray…Amen…

Blessings in Christ,  bruce r mills
