Jeremiah 17:9-10… “The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it? 10 I, the Lord, search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give every man according to his ways, According to the fruit of his doings.” (NKJV)

If you were to do a self-analysis of your heart, what would you come up with ?? Chances are, if you are reading this right now…you are probably a Christian in God’s eye’s… You are concerned with how God views your heart…and rightfully so…

One look at the title, and those that just might need some help in truly understanding God’s Word…tell themselves…”I’m good to go, when it comes to God checking out my heart” (and mind)… They have little to no interest, in anything related to God, or His Word… I am not criticizing them for their ignorance…because I was in the same position for over 3/4 of my life…

2 Corinthians 4:3-4… But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, 4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them. Indeed, “The heart is deceitful above all things”, and even the most dedicated, Spirit filled Christian (Ephesians 5:18-20), should be consistently asking God to reveal the hidden sins of their heart… I am reminded of David, who wrote half of the Book of Psalms, when he penned this, in…

Psalm 139:23-24… Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: 24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. (KJV)

Friends, the Bible is clear, that God will absolutely answer any pray from you that is in His will, in…1 John 5:14-15… If you get down on your hands and knees, and ask Him to search your heart and mind, in order to reveal any hidden sins you are harboring in your heart…you can be sure He will… But you had better be ready to respond to these revealed sins with prayer, seeking forgiveness from the Lord, through confession of any sins and godly repentance…1 John 1:9…

What a beautiful thing to be set free from unrighteousness…as God cleanses His children of their sins… God’s grace is indeed all we need, to help us through any of life’s toughest trials… The apostle Paul says this best, when he penned this, in…

2 Corinthians 12:9… And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. (NKJV)

Heavenly Father, I pray that Your living and powerful Word would urge all of Your redeemed children to pray to You, to search our heart for any hidden sins… I pray Lord, that we would then turn to You with a contrite heart and godly sorrow, to be again deemed righteous in Your sight… I pray for this sweet fellowship that walking in the Spirit with You will bring into our lives, in Jesus’ most precious name and for His sake…Amen…
