Ephesians 4:29… Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. (NKJV)
This opening scripture is perhaps the most well-known scripture of the dozen or so scripture verses I found in the Bible, on the words that proceed out of our mouth… It is directed at Christians…and if followed, I believe would have a dramatic impact on showing those around us the love of Christ and His grace with-in us, as we show grace to others…no matter what circumstance of life we find ourselves in…
But today, I write for all teens and young adults, whether they are Christians, or not… If you are one who uses profanity, you might be asking yourself who am I to be speaking to you about what comes out of your mouth… You probably don’t like criticism, right ?? I would urge you to read my writing on this very subject, that I titled… “Do You Welcome Criticism ??”, that can be found @ http://www.Godsmanforever.com by typing 3/12/2013 into the search window… At the very least, please spend 4 minutes watching this short video which asks the question… “Am I A Defensive Person”…found @ http://illbehonest.com/defensive-people-are-prideful-mack-tomlinson
My motives for today’s writing are based strictly out of my love for the entire younger generation, and my concern for how words that are spoken or shared through e-mails, and on public forum’s like Facebook and Twitter, enter into the black hole of the internet…and can never really be completely erased… If you think I’m kidding…do a Google search on someone’s name… You can find out all kinds of information about them, going back for years…
Here is the kind of information I just found on a young adult that I know, that is available to the public for a small fee…
