The Power of Forgiveness

Posted on November 4, 2014 by Ann V. Friend

Forgiveness serves two ways, for us and for them. The memory loses power to sting.
~ Ann Friend ~

Hello friends. (smile) To say, I’ve been struggling with forgiveness is an understatement. I had to shut down and pray. Forgiveness kept coming to mind. 70 times 7.

I’ve been sharing my retesting failures and can honestly say there was a lacked of forgiveness on my part that was defeating me.

God opened my eyes to my lack of forgiveness. Until I forgave myself for reacting to things and stuff, that memory no longer stung. The power of forgiveness!

Got to love those aha moments. Praise The Lord.

Here is the reality, things and stuff happen and there are unkind people in life. Forgiveness 70 times 7.

When I forgive the thing, them and myself, I became content at the circus! No more angst. No more giving power to the memory. Forgiveness 70 times 7.

It’s a beautiful thing to fully understand the power of forgiveness. For ourself and for others. Glory to God.

Forgiveness like most things, in life, is a choice. Choose to forgive. Forgiveness is spiritual growth.

Forgiveness 70 times 7 is a lifetime. Aha, to forgive and let go is powerful and liberating.

Forgiveness is easier as we’re become more spiritual than fleshly.

Sometimes, we make wrong choices. Forgiveness 70 times 7.

Forgiveness, at the end of the day, stops the instant replay of shoulda.

Forgiveness stops angst and releases us to move forward by letting go.

Here’s the thing, it is painful walking through things and stuff or Y moments; forgiveness takes away the angst we internalize about the thing or the Y, by providing power to let go and move forward.

Wisdom is to forgive them and forgive ourself. We live and learn by understanding the power that forgiveness brings.

Blessings, as we understand that forgiveness is powerful!

Feel free to share your thoughts on the power of forgiveness.
