“Keep Pressing on in Jesus’ Name”

KEEP PRESSING ON IN JESUS ! NEVER GIVE UP ! KEEP YOUR FOCUS ON THE LORD JESUS !! Be determined like this ‘little fish’ to do God’s will ! Do not give up !
Do not quit because of obstacles ! Press on ! Move forward ! Eyes fixed on the goal ! Like Paul said in Philippians 3:13-14‘ But this one thing I do , forgetting those things which are behind , and reaching forth unto those things which are before. I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.’ Remember Paul wrote this while in jail ! No excuses !

DEAD FISH FLOAT DOWNSTREAM ! WE ARE ALIVE IN JESUS WITH A NEW LIFE THAT SWIMS AGAINST THE CURRENTS OF A CULTURE FULL OF DEAD FISH .EASY TO FLOAT, TAKES EFFORT TO SWIM !

So ‘fight the good fight of faith’ and never quit ! Never be passive or lazy in your walk with God ! Never be at a standstill ! Never be like a car just parked. You are either growing in the Lord or going backward ! There is no room in between. Like a car you have two gears : Drive and Reverse. There is no such thing as Neutral in the Christian life. Heb.12:1  tells us to ‘lay aside every weight ,and the sin which doth so easily besets us and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.’

You must get rid of any sin that would ensnare you and slow you down as you run the race with endurance.This means you must be diligent and not compromise with sin. Whatever hinders your progress is not harmless but harmful and must be firmly dealt with. Are you in the race my friends ? How determined are you to live a life of holiness ? How resolute are you about killing that besetting sin or are you playing games with it ? We must examine our hearts before a holy God.

Paul said in 2 Timothy 4:7 ‘ I have fought a good fight,I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.’  May that be our testimony my friends.

“Dear Lord give me the desire and determination to follow You faithfully and fully no matter what the cost ! And give me the alertness,wisdom and watchfulness to stand firm against temptation and compromise ! My deepest longing is to know You and to make you known. So reveal Yourself to me Lord through Your Word by Your Spirit. I beg You help me never to lose my focus which is glorifying You each day of my life. To be a godly man in this wicked culture is not easy but Lord wake me up to see that I must pursue godliness and not give the devil an inch to corrupt my devotion to You. This is my earnest plea.”
