To Everyone Who Has ….

To everyone who has been despised, rejected, humiliated, or persecuted: Jesus Christ was detested, spurned, spit upon, mocked, ridiculed, humiliated, and persecuted.

To everyone who has had a rough upbringing: Jesus was born in a cave in Bethlehem and raised in the obscure town of Nazareth about which Nathaniel said to Philip, “Can any good thing come out of Nazareth?” (John 1:46).

To everyone who has been betrayed or abandoned: Jesus was betrayed by Judas, rejected by Peter (denying that he even knew Him) and abandoned by all His disciples when He needed them the most.

To everyone who has been bullied, abused, molested, raped, tortured or murdered: Jesus was abused, brutally beaten, tortured, and murdered.

To everyone who has ever been gossiped about, maligned, undermined, or had lies spread about them: Jesus was the victim of malicious lies, gossip, treachery, and treason.

To everyone who has felt lonely, alienated, or misunderstood: Jesus experienced loneliness, and alienation, and was frequently misunderstood by the religious leaders and, at times, even His disciples. Herod wanted to kill Him, Pilate washed his hands of Him, religious leaders envied Him, His family thought He had lost His mind, His fellow Israelites wanted to stone Him, the crowds shouted for His crucifixion, and Thomas doubted Him.

To everyone who has been tempted, tested, or experienced trials and tribulations: Jesus faced temptation, testing, trials, and tribulations of incomprehensible proportions and so is able to help us through our own temptations, testing, trials, and tribulations.

To everyone who has sinned, failed, or given up: Jesus, who never did, is gracious to offer forgiveness and restoration to those who repent and to strengthen those who persevere.

To everyone who has bullied others, acted immorally, or been a murderer, gossip, liar, or thief; you are a sinner – we all are. Jesus was none of these. He was perfect and sinless, yet He died for you and me. He obeyed God’s will in every aspect. Only through Him can we receive forgiveness and pardon from God for all the sins we have committed and gain access to God’s eternal kingdom of righteousness, peace, and joy.

To everyone who has given up wealth, fame, prestige, or family for Jesus Christ: realize that Jesus left His Father and the glory of Heaven to purchase our salvation. He will provide us an eternal inheritance beyond comprehension!

Jesus is Who everyone needs. Believe in Him as the Messiah; receive Him as your Savior; and live for Him as your Lord!
