1 Corinthians 4:2-3Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful. But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you or by a human court. In fact, I do not even judge myself.  (NKJV)

The apostle Paul wrote the opening scripture…  Paul always considered himself to be a bondservant of Christ; and said so throughout his writing…Romans 1:1…&…Titus 1:1

A bondservant in Jesus’ time was a slave who was faithful to his master… As a bondservant of the Lord, Paul was faithful to Christ…  It didn’t matter to Paul, what people around him thought about him… It was the Lord he was always trying to please, and not man… We see this in this scripture written by the apostle Paul, in…Galatians 1:10For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.  (NKJV)

You can see in the opening scripture that Paul’s faithfulness as a steward of Jesus Christ meant everything to him…  And how others judged him were insignificant, in the scheme of things…

Here is an excellent link to a study I found that was titled…“What is a Bondservant”… http://thebondservant.org/?page_id=68

I am going through some personal trials in my life…  But God always uses our trials to teach us patience, which is needed to become a complete Christian…James 1:2-5My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.  (NKJV)

The problem that exists with many of us is that we believe we know what is going on in the heart and mind of someone else because of what we see, or think we see; and we may be absolutely wrong… Its worse, when we listen second hand from another, about what someone thinks a brother or sister in Christ has done wrong…and then a judgment is made against them that really isn’t based upon what Jesus teaches us, in…John 7:24“Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.”  (NKJV)

I am writing about this act of misjudgment of another, because I myself have succumbed to the same mistake…  You just can’t look at a situation involving someone else, and make a false judgment without knowing every detail about why someone did what they did… I have learned by my own false judgments of others…how easily this mistake can be made…

Let us not presume to judge another brother or sister in Christ, without absolute irrefutable proof that they have indeed done something wrong in God’s eyes…  If what they have done that appears to be against God’s Word…but was done because they believe they are following what God has led them to do…who are we to say they are wrong… They are indeed, to be found faithfulto the Lord first and foremost…

Heavenly Father, I pray that the truth from Your Word will be used by You, to open the eyes of anyone who has wrongly judged someone else without absolute proof…  I pray Lord, that You will help all of us to be wary of judging others in a way that will not be pleasing in Your sight… As always, I pray for this guidance that only You can provide…in Jesus most precious name and for His sake…Amen…
