Matthew 14:25-26… Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea. ²⁶ And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, “It is a ghost!” And they cried out for fear. ²⁷ But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.”  (NKJV)

When Jesus walked on water, I can’t think it was a big deal to Him, I believe he walked out there as normally as we would step off the sidewalk and walk onto the street. I often wonder what He must have meant when He said “‘greater things than these shall you do if you believe’”.  I can’t think that the Son of God is a liar.  I’m sorry but the Bible says in Daniel about the last days, those who know their God shall do great exploits. I’m not thinking about the fantastic fanatic here.  I’m thinking about the Power of the living God flowing through cleansed earthen vessels fit for the Lords service.  How is it that we are commanded to do; and all we can do is preach, pretend, traditionalize, familiarize, and philosophize Jesus Christ ?!

Guys, God has said; so what is wrong with us? One thing I believe is that we are not willing to face the facts because that’s not comfortable, and maybe we would find that we don’t believe; but use Christianity as people have told me, as a crutch, or a comfort – too bad if this is true, because we are called to far higher ground!

We are called to be Priests to God; a Holy nation, a peculiar people, a people set out for his glory and praise, a people to show the glory of God to the principalities and powers!  ‘Ephesians.’

Man, keep your Philosophies.  I need Jesus in truth.  Further, I don’t want to seem like I am pointing to the fantastic fanatic screamers either. POWER is Power because the Spirit of God is there; not because of – Volume, and Parroting the word in presumption.

Okay so ‘hate me’- Jesus showed us the way; we need to repent and walk it out!

I did say ‘we’  –  as in me too!

God of Glory, Majesty, Power, and Wonder beyond all our wildest fantasies, You humble Yourself to look upon us, and we strut and blow like the north wind on a winters day. Forgive us all, for we know not what we do.  How is it that we are Yours and have none of Your likeness indeed? Oh how we need You to humble us all, and reload our processors ‘our minds’, and hearts’ with the fullness of God in Christ Jesus. Lord we so desperately need You. In the beginning Adam was created with the fullness of Your wisdom, and easily communicated directly with You. In Jesus, You have established this ability in us; please help us to truly connect, and begin to feed and nourish ourselves in You and grow into the fullness of the stature of God in Christ.  I pray this for every one who calls on Your name with a true heart, regardless of their status in this life; because human status is a lie at best. In Jesus Christ I pray, amen
