Yesterday I wrote about how a person can have 100% “Blessed Assurance”, that they are indeed a Christian in God’s eyes… There should be no ifs, ands, or buts about knowing that you are a child of God…if you are indeed saved by God’s gift of grace, through saving faith alone in His Son Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9)… Anyone who has doubts or questions about their eternal future, should spend the time to go back and read what God’s Word reveals about knowing for sure you are heaven bound… Failure to be graced by God with salvation (forgiveness of sins), will lead to dire consequences if someone dies in their sins…John 8:24…

Here is scripture I did not get a chance to post yesterday…1John 5:12-13… He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. 13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God. (NKJV)
But once the Christian has been filled with the Holy Spirit…remaining Spirit filled should become a life long commitment, seeking to remain walking in sweet fellowship with the Lord… God wants His children to live stress free lives, without being anxious for anything… The opening scripture gives us a big clue as to how we go about finding rest for our soul, when Satan and the world around us…along with our own carnal flesh…will be doing everything possible to keep us from living a life that is in all ways, pleasing to the Lord…
Christian’s must quickly learn from God, to lean on Him, and not their own understanding… God’s ways are always the right way… God gives His children the Holy Spirit as a live in, lifelong Helper (John 14:26)…to guide those that listen to His urging, a path that is always right in God’s eyes…
It takes constant prayer with the Lord, as the Christian remains totally submitted to living for Him… The Apostle Paul pens this piece of scripture, which is filled with wisdom and truth…Philippians 4:6-7… Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (NKJV)
Christians must empty themselves of self…with all the evil thoughts that Satan, the world, and their own flesh will use to lure them into sinning…and fill themselves with the love of Christ… All sins must be confessed, and turned from, by reverent pray to the Lord (1 John 1:9)… Once our complete faith and trust is placed in the Lord for guidance…avoiding sin’s temptations can be accomplished by the full power of the Christian’s Protector…the Holy Spirit…
The wise Solomon says this best, in…Proverbs 3:5-6… Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. (NKJV)
Heavenly Father, Your Word is crystal clear on how to help ourselves…to those that can humble themselves into following the wisdom and the truth that can be found by diligently spending the time opening and learning from their Bible… I pray Lord, that You would use this truth from Your Word today, to direct those in need of Your grace into seeking Christ while He may still be found (Isaiah 55:6)… And Lord, I pray that Your children that are less than Spirit filled…would turn from their sins, to receive the blessings You eagerly want to provide to Your obedient children… I pray for this fullness of Christ for all of us, in Jesus’ most precious name and for His sake…Amen…
