What do you think of the evangelists who shares the Gospel with strangers?

There are some Christians who don’t like evangelists who go up to strangers to evangelize them.  Let me say up front I’m not for evangelizing in a manner that’s ungodly or unloving.  But to share to strangers…is that something to view negatively?

There’s a verse in Romans 10 on beautiful feet of those who do the work of evangelism.  I will quote Romans 10:13-15 for context:

¹³ for “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.” ¹⁴ How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher? ¹⁵ How will they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who ^[i]bring good news of good things!”

I’ve been thinking about this the last 24 hours.  You see I have a relative that’s passing away soon…

The relative is at another continent.  Speaks fluently another language/dialect than what I speak every day.  Is right now unable to speak but Lord willing could hear.

I’m going to try to share the Gospel in a little bit after I load up this post.  I’ve stayed up all night for the opportunity to try to call given the time differences.

All day I’ve been praying that God might recall to memory to my relative any experiences of any missionaries, evangelists or Christian friends who might have shared the Gospel to him.  I don’t know if it has been shared to him before.

You know the evangelists on your bus stop or street corner that some Christians don’t like?

Now I’m praying that someone like that have crossed path with my relative before and have shared the Gospel before.  Because I love my relative and want him to be saved…for eternity.

Suddenly from that perspective the evangelists that the world makes fun of suddenly becomes important.

Suddenly their feet has become beautiful.
