This Sunday at Church: Pray for your Church to not forget the Great Commission

This Sunday at Church I want to encourage you to do the following: Pray for your Church to not forget the Great Commission.

First though: What is the Great Commission?

It’s from Matthew 28:19-20 which states:

Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

This is Jesus telling us to do many things.

But before we do, or even plan to do them I think it should begin with earnest prayer.

Pray with others about this at church.

Prayer should be our first resource instead of our last recourse.
