Galatians 6:3
Every good and perfect gift comes to us by God. Sometimes we forget that without HIM, we are nothing. We start to look at material things as indicative of wealth. We forget that He owns and created the cattle and the hills they graze on. But true wealth is to know, love and honor God. It is when we have an attitude of humility, and start to esteem others better than ourselves. It is the willingness to accept the lowest seat, to allow others to go first. It is recognizing and acknowledging the worth of others. And it is the desire to help others up when they are down.
When we see someone in dire straits, we know that except for the grace of God, there we would be. And perhaps most of all, it is the ability to be able to thank and praise God in all things, and in all circumstances.
This morning I am confessing to God that outside of HIS righteousness in me, I am nothing, and praising Him and thanking Him for all that HE is.
