“Sins forgiven, and forgotten by God !!”

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Romans 8:1

Paul was speaking to the Romans in the here and now! He understood and taught them the difference in them BEFORE they had come to Christ in faith, and right now, AFTER they had come to Him in faith. And when Paul encouraged them by telling them the amount of condemnation they faced after God’s Spirit indwelled them, he stressed that amount was ZERO, NADA, absolutely NONE! For you see, after a person comes to Christ in faith, that person is a new creation. Old things are passed away, and all things have become new.

It is hard to understand and accept the fact that as long as we remain on earth, in the flesh, that our sin nature is still with us. But God’s Holy Spirit is with us too! And He can overrule our desire to sin. We start to desire to please Him and serve Him. And when we do sin, it makes us ashamed and sorrowful. We come to our Savior in repentance, confessing our sins. And when we do that, there is no condemnation from the Righteous Judge for our sins. For you see, He has already paid the Supreme price for those sins. So, this morning, I give God thanksgiving and praise that even when others may condemn me, because of His Spirit within me, He does not. And this is a wonderful thing to experience and accept in humble gratitude, in faith and by faith, by the grace of God.
